About TDOP

All funds raised through TDOP are donated directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Tech Day of Pink takes place annually on the second Thursday of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month). This year’s Tech Day of Pink will take place Thursday, October 9th, 2025.

On Tech Day of Pink, we invite technologists and IT professionals to post a picture of themselves wearing pink or a Pink Ribbon on social media and share what the Pink Ribbon means to them with the hashtags #TechInPink2025. For more ways to participate, visit the Participate section

Last year in 2024, we held our third annual benefit concert with an amazing performance by Grammy nominated singer-songwriter, Pink Sweat$. Stay tuned for news on the concert lineup this year!

How to Participate

  • To raise awareness, simply post a selfie on October 9th, 2025, in pink (or wearing a pink ribbon) on Instagram, Facebook, X and/or LinkedIn with the hashtag #TechInPink2025. Multiple CIOs and companies have pledged to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for this activation.
