“Reminiscent V” is a Solarplate Etching, which is an incredibly versatile and environmentally friendly method of printmaking. When printing this piece she used a technique called Chine’ Colle’ which is a form of collage for printmaking. For the Chine’ Colle’ she hand dyed rice paper which allowed her to create soft colorful undertones while the ink of the etching created clear defined lines. These combined techniques played off the notion of memory fading in and out.
